I honestly couldn’t recommend Alex enough. From the beginning she was so friendly, thoughtful, and really listened to everything I wanted from this piece. The tattoo is very personal to me, and she completely understood the balance between making it meaningful while still keeping the symbolism subtle and elegant, even incorporating the Libra constellation in such a beautiful, understated way. She brought my exact vision to life while adding details and elements I hadn’t even thought of myself. You can really tell how much care she puts into her work. Since the design included a sword, she took so much time making sure it was perfectly straight and checked the placement thoroughly from every angle. The tattoo is on my ribs, so it definitely wasn’t the easiest spot, but she checked in on me constantly, made sure I was comfortable, and let me take breaks whenever I needed. She made the whole process feel as calm and pain-free as possible. The final result is genuinely stunning. It feels more like a piece of art than a tattoo. I’m completely obsessed with it and so happy I get to carry something this beautiful forever. Thank you so much Alex 🖤

Questions

How much is the deposit and when do I pay it?

To hold your spot, I usually require a £100 deposit. This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo and is paid by card through Tattoodo when you book the appointment.

What affects how long a tattoo takes?

Several factors can influence the time needed, including: • Placement on the body • Level of detail • Size of the piece • How your skin takes ink • How clear your idea is from the start The more precise and realistic your request, the more efficiently I can prepare. If you leave out key details or change your mind during the appointment, extra time may be needed. My rate is £150 per hour, starting from when we meet. I switched to hourly pricing after too many experiences where fixed quotes led clients to expect more time or complexity than was realistic for their budget. Setting this boundary keeps things fair and respectful for both of us. Your session includes design review, placement adjustments, stencil prep, the tattoo itself, and aftercare guidance. The rate also reflects my prep time, admin, studio fees, and the years of experience I bring to every appointment. You are not just booking time. You are investing in a focused and professional process. If you are unsure how long your idea might take, just send the details and I will guide you from there.

When will I see the design? Can I request changes?

I create your tattoo design on the morning of your appointment, outside of my regular work hours, which means you aren't charged extra for this time. When we meet, the time spent discussing your design, adjusting the placement, and resizing is part of your appointment. Sending designs beforehand can make the approval process challenging and time-consuming, taking away from the personal connection and collaboration that are crucial to creating a meaningful tattoo. I value the opportunity to work with you face-to-face, where we can explore different design options together and make sure every detail, like size and placement, is just right. Before your appointment, I gather as much information from you as possible to create a piece that you'll love. You're always welcome to send additional references or details to help in the design process. Thank you for trusting me with your tattoo. I look forward to creating something beautiful with you.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?

• A non-refundable deposit of £100 (£300 for full days) is required to secure your booking, this value will be discounted of your final price. • If you need to change the date, I require at least 7 days notice so I can offer the spot to someone else. • In cases where sufficient notice isn’t given, the deposit will be retained as it also covers studio costs and preparation. If at least 7 days of notice are given I can move your date ONCE.

Can I bring a friend?

Friends or family are not allowed in the tattooing area, even if they just want to watch. I’m a quiet and focused person, and having someone else in the space can disrupt my creative process and affect the flow of your session. If you are neurodivergent and feel more comfortable with quiet company, I’m happy to make an exception. Please let me know in advance so I can prepare accordingly. Please note: if a companion becomes disruptive or interferes with the session, they will kindly be asked to leave the treatment area. The studio is also a shared space, and extra people can affect the experience for you, for me, and for others working nearby.

What payment methods do you accept?

For the remaining balance after the deposit, I kindly ask that you pay in CASH WHENEVER POSSIBLE, as the studio is CASH ONLY. I can also accept card payments through Tattoodo with all major credit and debit cards. Klarna is available if you’d like to spread your payment over time (you’ll need your physical ID to use Klarna).

Do you offer consultations?

In most cases a good briefing is enough for me to be able to send you prices and dates. I offer consultations on a £100 non refundable fee: this fee is for an appointment in person where we’ll discuss your ideas and I’ll create some studies with you, you’re not allowed to record this process if I end up drawing a sketch. The consultation fee will be reverted towards your due amount if you decide to book in with me.

Can I get any design I want?

I’ll work with your ideas adding my own style to create something unique. If I think an idea won’t work well with my view I’ll encourage you to explore other artists who might better align with your vision and availability
