Ruth was incredible! Since I was visiting from abroad, she offered to start early so I could get two pieces done. The entire process was smooth, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout the full-day session. I couldn’t recommend her more!

An easy 5 stars. Getting my back tattoo with Juli was such a lovely and memorable experience. I am a bit of a germophobe, yet found the entire experience to be incredibly clean, comfortable, and seamless. I've had other tattoos and been with friends getting their tattoos, and Juli's work space and consideration really is top notch - incredibly professional. I've always loved the idea of allowing an artist to take creative liberties with an idea I have, and I was very much impressed by how Juli brought my overly complicated back tattoo idea to life. Here it is after 1 session fully healed. Can't wait for the next session!
Meg was lovely throughout the whole process. She had several options draw up based on the description I had given. On the day, there was plenty of time to make adjustments and explore small changes. I appreciate how patient and flexible she was.
Juli gave me my first tattoo. I cherish the experience. I followed a lot of artists on instagram, and Juli's work just always spoke to me. I just could not imagine someone else's art on my skin for my first tattoo. I have had this tattoo idea for 10 years and decided for my 30th birthday that it was finally time. Juli was extremely communicative over instragram, and made sure I understood the process. She made it clear what it would take, and how expensive it would be. I made it very clear to Juli that I wanted her as my artist and I would wait until she could tattoo me. She knew I lived far away (about 3 hours) so she came in on a day she normally doesn't work to help with my ability to reach Toronto. Over the course of 8 hours I went from never tattooed to what you see. Juli WORKED hard. 8 hours is a LONG time. She has a light hand, so it didn't hurt too bad until hour like 6 or 7. (I have subsequently gotten a small tattoo, and a heavy handed artist hurt way more). She worked with me, and I left feeling more complete than when I got there. Like she helped reveal a piece of me. She made changes, and adjustments to the vision, but like I WANT her too. She would explain why she made any changes (asking if it was okay), but I was happy with all she did. I was choosing her as an artist, so I wanted her to have liberty to adjust it. I want my artist to take whatever ideas I give them, and make them better. It was expensive. I think I paid like $2500 cad. But it was worth it. I don't think most artists can be this detailed, and I don't think most can do a tattoo of this size/complexity in one day. She also worked around my limited time/availability. I think her price was well justified. I am so excited because I am stopping in Vancouver just so I can get my next tattoo from Juli. The photos are from a year+ healing. The tattoo healed amazingly well. I will ask if she wants to do touch ups when I visit, but honestly it's holding up well.
