Briar Rose Tattoo, London
Meet Michelle, a London-based artist at Briar Rose Tattoos specializing in black & grey illustrative work. Michelle is open to most styles and subjects but especially loves tattooing skulls, animals, insects, and plants - anything nature-related, especially with a witchy twist.
I’ve wanted a snake and peony tattoo for a while, and when I discovered Michelle’s work on Instagram, I knew I’d found my artist. From the start, the consultation was excellent. She listened carefully, took notes, explained the process, and guided me through her clear and easy booking system. A few days before my appointment, she sent me a rough sketch that already captured exactly what I had envisioned. She was very accommodating with small adjustments and open to feedback. The session took place at Briar Rose Tattoo, a cozy and inclusive studio. Her workstation was spotless and organized, and she was incredibly patient as we tested different sizes and made final refinements to the design. During the five-hour session, her attention to detail and care in every line and shade really stood out. She also made sure I was comfortable throughout, checking in often and explaining what she was doing. Her aftercare guidance was clear and thorough. Overall, I was deeply impressed by Michelle’s professionalism, artistry, and passion for her craft. I couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the final result. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a talented and thoughtful tattoo artist.
Michelle was such a pleasure to have as my tattoo artist!! This was my first tattoo and she made every part of the process easy to understand and comfortable, she was such a delight to talk to and her work is just stunning. She gave great input into the positioning of my tattoo and what would work best visually, and let me change the stencil placement several times without complaint. She made sure I had breaks when needed and gave me an in-depth aftercare routine that has kept my tattoo looking amazing! Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a floral design :)
To hold your spot, I usually require a £50 deposit. This deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo and is paid by card through Tattoodo when you book the appointment. I offer financing options through Klarna, allowing you to spread out the deposit and/or the final cost if needed. The remaining amount is paid on the day of the appointment. I prefer bank transfer but accept cash too :)
I usually send a sketch of the design a few days in advance, so you can check it out and make sure it’s exactly what you envision. If you have any tweaks in mind, don’t hesitate to let me know!
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let me know asap. If you reschedule 14 days in advance, you can transfer your deposit to the new appointment. Otherwise a new deposit will required. Deposits are non-refundable.
Yes! You‘re welcome to bring a friend to your appointment, but please let me know in advance. And please avoid bringing along more than one person (the studio is quite cozy, so there might not be enough space).
For the remaining balance after the deposit, I prefer bank transfer, but cash is also fine. I also offer financing options through Klarna, so that you can spread out your payment over time.
