In his fourteen-year tattoo career, Matt C. Ellis has become well-known for his vivid use of color and attention to detail in a variety of styles including Japanese, traditional, and realism. He especially enjoys doing large-scale tattoos and is passionate about his artwork. Matt consistently strives to push the boundaries of tattooing so that he may bring his clients’ ideas to life. Although he is a New York native, Matthew has tattooed throughout the country. As a graduate of both FIT and the City College of New York, he continues to express his artistic abilities through tattooing as well as painting, printmaking, and street art.
