This is my first tattoo - it's my family crest: Moir ([MOY-er]) is my middle name of Scottish origin, and is part of the Clan Gordon of the Scottish Highlands. The name in its present form dates from the 14th century, and means "brave, renowned, mighty" in the Scots Gaelic dialect.
