Tattoo I've done on a client represents past present future. It also stands for the clients past the black hollow shell trying to hold back the new person he has become and his child is represented by the small cross coming from the center his heart area. The small cross is breaking away as his child is becoming of age and will be leaving for college and starting their own life.
